CHESS Alumni Council
The purpose of the CHESS Alumni Council is to strengthen the relationship between alumni, students, and the faculty/staff of the College of Humanities & Earth and Social Sciences. It generates programming to support lifelong learning, and offers opportunities to make meaningful social, volunteer, and career connections. The Council is guided by the activities and decisions of the Office of Alumni Engagement, within the UNC Charlotte Alumni Association, and comprises a select group of alumni for a term of leadership and service. However, anyone is welcome and encouraged to engage with CHESS Alumni Council activities and programming!
Applications for the Alumni Council are collected all year, with priority given to applications received by March 15. The council will review applications shortly after and invite new members to join the council in the May/June timeframe. Open positions will vary by academic year, with 3-year terms (preferred).
